  Kim Nguyen is board member of Germany’s largest IT security association TeleTrusT and also heads the Innovations Department at Bundesdruckerei, where he leads initiatives in digital identity, quantum technologies, AI, and data. Previously, he served as Managing Director of D-Trust, the Bundesdruckerei Group’s qualified trust service provider, and led its Trusted Services business unit. He also played a key role in the development of Germany’s electronic passport and ID card programs. Before joining Bundesdruckerei, he worked in the semiconductor industry at Philips Semiconductors (later NXP).

  Kim holds a Ph.D. in mathematics, specializing in elliptic-curve cryptography and algebraic number theory. He is also a board member of Germany largest IT security association TeleTrusT.
