Maxine Knegt began her journey in the field of document examination in 2009, starting a career with the Royal Military Police in the Netherlands. During this time, she held diverse roles, including border security at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, police operations, aviation security training, escort commander training, first-line document control, and serving as a document examiner and expert.
After more than a decade with the Royal Military Police, Maxine transitioned to the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) under the Ministry of Asylum and Migration in 2020. Maxine started as a document examiner specialising in breeder documents and then progressed to the role of Senior Document Expert in the training and development team. In this role, she shares her expertise in document examination and security designs and delivers training programs for both national and international colleagues and partners.
