  Christoffer Bonn holds two MSc degrees and has a diverse background as a war veteran, former EU police officer, criminal intelligence officer, and à la carte chef. With over two decades of experience in law enforcement and immigration, both in Finland and abroad, Chris currently serves as the Head of the ID Centre at the Finnish Immigration Service.

• Presentation Title: The Finnish DTC pilot - implementation, defect management and digital residence permits
• Presentation 2-Line Description: Finland conducted the first ever successful DTC pilot in 2023 in a multi-agency effort. In addition to testing the DTC Type1, defect management was explored as well as a study on the digitalisation of the EU residence permit into a signed 2D-barcode containing a high-quality facial image.
