Bio:
Glenn Scott was appointed Program Director for the Central Bank Counterfeit Deterrence Group (CBCDG) in 2022 and combines his technical, business, and interpersonal skills to drive technical solutions to fight against the digital counterfeiting of banknotes. As part of his current responsibilities, he collaborates with stakeholders to respond to emerging threats, while continually enhancing CBCDG products and services, and expanding market reach.
Prior to this, he worked at the European Monetary Institute and the Bank of England before joining the European Central Bank (ECB) in 1998. During his time at the ECB, Glenn held a range of predominantly IT-focused roles, including lead project manager, Deputy Head of Division, and Head of the Infrastructure & Operations Services Division from 2018 to 2022.
