Banco de España and the Instituto LENI (Polytechnic University of Valencia) developed a methodology for conducting innovative perception studies of cash based on the application of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Miguel will explain how Neurocash® leverages cutting-edge technologies to study users' biometric responses. Using AI-based algorithms, these responses are analysed to generate neuro-metric indicators that assess visual, emotional, and cognitive impact, in addition to security perception. More importantly, he will discuss the advantages of Neurocash®, including its design, security, quality, rapid and cost-effective prototyping, counterfeit resilience assessment, and evaluation of communication campaign effectiveness, among others. He will also explore its various applications throughout different phases of the cash life cycle, addressing the needs of the public and other stakeholders.
