Bio:
Alexandra Geiger joined Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology GmbH in 2021 as Sustainability Engineer. In her role, she is responsible for G+D`s way forward to more sustainable products and processes, both internally and for the cash cycle. She supports the production sites of Louisenthal as well as G+D`s printing works on their way to reduce carbon emissions, waste and water consumption.
Before joining G+D, Alexandra has gained some years of experience in the field of sustainable production as sustainability manager at a manufacturer of machines for the pulp and paper industry.
Alexandra holds a master`s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
