Bio:
William (Bill) Riley serves as Head of Federal Reserve FedCash Services Currency Technology. In support of the Federal Reserve System and in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Printing and Engraving and Printing, and the U.S. Secret Service, William’s team is responsible for the design, procurement, quality assurance, implementation, training, and customer technical support activities for high-speed banknote processing systems used in Federal Reserve cash processing operations nationwide.
William has been with the Federal Reserve System for 25 years and has held varying roles in the Information Technology arena for nearly 40 years with experience in overseeing large complex projects and information security.

The entire world has been deeply affected by COVID-19. And so has our industry, be it by the reduction in the daily use of cash or by the restrictions on the movement of people. This panel will explore the lessons learned from the outbreak, and how these may contribute to reshaping the future of our currency and identity documents.
