Michael Fuchs is Head of the Unit for Passports, ID Cards and e-ID at the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior since 2006.

Michael is responsible for the issuance of passports and ID cards, and for the registration of the electronic ID at the authorities.

He also represents Austria in the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
