Superintendent Tan Kah Wee has held several appointments within the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Singapore.
Having served as Assistant Commander (Ground Operations, Airport) from 2010 to 2014, he became Staff Officer for Integrated Checkpoints Command (Air Domain) from 2015 to 2017, and subsequently assumed the position of Senior Assistant Commander (Ground Operations, Airport) from 2018 to 2019.
During his time as Senior Assistant Commander (Ground Operations, Airport), Kah Wee was involved in the setting up of immigration facilities at the new Seletar Airport.
In 2019, he took up the post of Head (New Clearance Concept) in Operations Division. His main task in the New Clearance Concept Office is to transform the current clearance process for people passing through Singapore’s entry and exit points into a more seamless and efficient clearance.

The presentation will cover plans by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, Singapore to introduce new clearance concepts for people clearance at our checkpoints so as to provide a more seamless, secure and efficient immigration clearance experience.
