Lt. Marcin Lemieszek is a Questioned Document Expert at the Forensic Laboratory of Warsaw Metropolitan Police.
From 2016 to 2019, Marcin was a member of the Committee of Experts of Questioned Documents operating at Poland’s Ministry of Interior and Administration. Since 2019, he has been serving on its Commission for Public Documents where he advises on, and approves new and modernised public documents that require forgery- or falsification-proof security features.
Marcin’s daily work includes preparing statements for courts, prosecutor's offices and police units pertaining to document-related crimes; as well as training frontline policemen to verify the authenticity of documents, and future questioned documents experts from Forensic Laboratories of the Polish Police. In order to deliver first-line, hands-on support to others, he also regularly takes part in police patrols controlling vehicles and drivers. Marcin holds a master’s in Chemistry and completed postgraduate studies in Security of Public Documents at the Police Academy in Szczytno, Poland.
