Igor Vučko has been serving in the Slovenian police for the last 20 years, mainly as Project Manager of big ICT projects related to the digitalisation of police processes in fields including administrative and operational management, as well as mobile solutions.
In 2009, Igor was promoted ICT Assistant Director of the Slovenian Police. As a member of several boards (Europol, eu-LISA, etc.), he is actively involved in defining and implementing crucial EU information systems.
Besides other projects, Igor is currently managing the Slovenian implementation of the Entry/Exit System (ESS).
Solutions and challenges in implementation of EES in Slovenia
The presentation will focus on technical solutions aiming to match Entry/Exit System (ESS) requirements, with minimal negative effect on border control processes and waiting queues.
