Daniel Hulme is a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies. He is the founder and CEO of Satalia, a London-based, award-winning company that applies the latest artificial intelligence, optimisation and machine learning technologies to help global businesses, of all sizes and in multiple sectors, to solve incredibly challenging problems involving products, services, and people.
Passionate about how technology can be used to govern organisations and bring positive social impact, Daniel has contributed to numerous books, articles and podcasts on AI and the future of work. He serves as a consultant for a range of technology businesses, has advisory and executive positions across companies and governments, and actively promotes purposeful entrepreneurship and technology innovation across the globe.
Daniel was awarded a master’s in Computer Science with Machine Learning and a PhD in Computational Complexity from University College London (UCL), where has research and teaching positions in the department of Computer Science. He is also a Kaufmann Global Scholar, a faculty member of Singularity University, UCL's Computer Science Entrepreneur in Residence, and a lecturer at the Marshall Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Specialised in AI, ethics, philosophy, innovation, decentralisation and organisational design, Daniel spends a good portion of his time sharing his thoughts at TEDx talks and industry events. He loves talking about what is, and what is not, AI, leaving audiences with plenty of food for thought, ready to start their AI journey.
