Bio:
Daniel (Dan) Bilow is the Project Lead for the Next Generation Passport (NGP) with the U.S. Department of State. He is responsible for the overall rollout and delivery of the NGP and the associated printers across 29 passport agencies and print centres. Additionally, Dan is the Office Director for Acceptance Facility Oversight (AFO), leading a dynamic team of 40 individuals and conducting inspections of passport acceptance facilities.
Prior to his employment at the Department of State, he worked for Thales and focused on business development for U.S. naval/maritime programmes for 10 years. Dan served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Officer for seven years and then served as a Project Manager for the U.S. Department of the Navy.
Dan’s selection as the project lead of the NGP programme is a testament to his 27 years of leadership and project management experience in both private industry and government programmes.
