Since August 2026, Dieter has been Managing Director of OVD Kinegram AG. He will step down as Chairman of Intergraf’s Committee of Experts in October 2026 after a decade of dedicated involvement.
Dieter began his career in research before moving into security printing, building broad experience across research, product development, banknote printing and security management. He joined Bundesdruckerei in 2000 as a Project Manager in Research & Development, followed by roles at Robert Bosch and Giesecke+Devrient, where he worked as Patent Coordinator and later Regional Sales Director for the Southern & Eastern Africa Banknote Printing Division.
From 2011 to 2018, Dieter led Research & Development at Orell Füssli Security Documents, subsequently taking on responsibility for its Security Printing Division and becoming CTO of the Orell Füssli Group. He returned to Bundesdruckerei in 2019 as Vice President & General Manager of the Business Unit Value Printing, before taking up his current position at OVD Kinegram AG in August 2026.
